Palo Alto Concours D'Elegance 2001
The yearly
Palo Alto Concours D'Elegance
is a charity benefit held
on Stanford University practice fields every summer.
Parking is in a dirt lot adjacent to the fields on El Camino
or in the surrounding neighborhoods.
The variety and quality of cars is quite good,
with an especially good showing of classic American
cars from the 30s through 50s.
If you're driving by on El Camino or happen to be on campus you
may catch a glimpse of some of the cars.
Pictures below are in no particular order.
The actual presentation on the field is well-organzied by time period,
maker, country, etc.
In addition to lots of Ferraris and some Porsches,
You'll find many unusual French, American, Italian, German, British
and other cars
Cobra Daytona Couples, original and reproductions, at a difference
in value in the 6 figures.
Cobras, Mustangs and Corvettes are usually well represented with clean,
unusual, and some racing versions.
